- All investors at USV are generalists and the team doesn’t vote — instead we discuss the company, the product, and the category as a group in order to come to a decision.
- USV’s investment thesis focuses on “investing at the edge of large markets under transformative pressures.”
What Happens During the Pitch
Attendees join via Zoom or at the office at 817 Broadway in NYC. Presenters share decks via screen sharing, though conversations often diverge from slides. Questions are encouraged, and if materials are shared beforehand, the team reviews them.

After you pitch the full team, you will hear feedback within 24 hours. Next steps may include final due diligence stages, a term sheet offer, or information about our hesitations. USV has never backed out of a term sheet.
