Jay is an analyst on the investment team at Union Square Ventures. Before USV, he was an investor at Pantera Capital, where he focused on agentic commerce and blockchain applications. He has previously also published research on agentic harnesses and security paradigms with Cornell Tech's IC3 Lab and Stanford AI Lab. Jay studied Computer Science and Philosophy at Stanford, where he led Stanford Blockchain Club and dabbled in Wittgenstein's philosophy of language.
